Aurora Ribes Ribes

She has a Law degree (1998, Extraordinary Award) and a Ph. D. (2002) from the University of Alicante, Spain. She is a Tax Law Professor at the University of Alicante, Spain. She has taught several courses in Grade and Postgraduate level. She is regular participant in different research projects, national and international conferences and seminars. Currently she carries out duties as an Academic Secretary of the Doctoral School of the University of Alicante, Spain. She is also involved as the Teaching staff at the Università degli studi di Torino (Italia), Faculty of law, University of Lisbon and Università di Bologna (Italia). She is a Mmember of the International Fiscal Association (IFA), European Association of Tax Law Professors (EATLP), Spanish Association of Tax Advisers (AEDAF) and Spanish Association of Tax Law Professors (AEDF). She has published four books and several articles and book chapters on the following research topics: EU and International Tax Law, Tax Penalties and Fiscal Federalism. Her area of expertise is EU and International Tax Law, Tax penalties, Regional taxes. She joined the research group on Tax Governance: International Standards, Patriotisms and Exiles.
