Rita Szudoczky

She obtained a PhD degree in EU Tax Law at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 2013. She has LLM degrees in International Tax Law, Leiden University, The Netherlands (2004), in European Law, Leiden University, The Netherlands (2003) and in International Business Law (CEU, Budapest 2002). She graduated in law in 1999 (ELTE, Budapest). Previously, she has worked for three years in the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) in Amsterdam, as a research associate in the Knowledge Centre and in the IBFD’s International Tax Academy. She launched a new database of the IBFD on the direct tax case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and she worked on consultancy projects for various governments. She was also teaching and designing courses on numerous topics of International and European Tax Law. She is a legal associate at Jalsovszky Law Firm, Budapest, Hungary. She has also worked for the Budapest office of Linklaters as a trainee lawyer on the Tax Department. She has contributed to several IBFD publications. Before the IBFD, she published several articles and taught various courses and seminars at universities in the Netherlands and Hungary. She joined the research group on Tax Governance: International Standards, Patriotisms and Exiles.
