Tsilly Dagan

In 1999 she obtained her J.S.D. from Tel-Aviv University Law School (Strategic Aspects of International Taxation). She also has a LLM from New York University Law School, (in taxation, 1993) and a LLB from Tel-Aviv University Law School (1988).

She has been a Professor at the Bar-Ilan University Law School, Israel, since 2010. Prior to that she served as an Associate Professor (2006-2010) and an Assistant Professor (1998-2006) at the same University. She was a visiting Professor (2009) at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, a visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Michigan Law School (1999 and 2001-2003). She also lectured at the College of Management Law School, Israel, from 1993 until 1997. A few of her publications are – Tax, State and Utopia, 33 Virginia Tax Review (forthcoming 2014); Adoption Regulation as Commodification, in Regulations (Roy Kreitner et al. eds., forthcoming 2014) (with Talia Fisher); Taxing Communities; the Taxation of the Traditional and the Renewing Kibbutz, 36 Tel-Aviv University Law Review 508 (2013)[Heb] (Winner of the Kibbutz Fund award 2014) (with Avital Margalith). Her research interests are Tax Policy, International Tax policy, International Tax, Globalization and Tax Competition. She joined the research group on Tax Governance: International Standards, Patriotisms and Exiles.
