Intensive Courses

4th Training Course for Judges in European Competition Law.

The European Institute and the Institute for Economic, Financial and Tax Lax (IDEFF), both of the Lisbon University Law School, are organizing, on the 1st and 2nd June 2015, the 4th Training Course for Judges in European Competition Law.

Keeping with the tradition of distinguished speakers and high quality of presentations, this edition will distinguish itself from preceding ones primarily in three aspects. First, it will be focused decisively on the most controversial legal issues and on recent developments in the private enforcement of competition law. Second, there is an increase in the number of speakers from the judiciary, strengthening the objective of creating a space for debate and exchange of experiences between judges, academics, lawyers and economists. Lastly, the aim is also to give this edition a truly Iberian scope, with numerous speakers and participants from Spain.

Funding is available for accommodation and meals for a limited number of participants.

This initiative is once again co-financed by the European Commission and is supported by the Portuguese Centro de Estudos Judiciários
