In the context of the Annual Cycle of International Conferences and Workshops associated with the Seventh Post-Graduate Course of Competition and Regulation, IDEFF has the pleasure of inviting you to a Workshop which will be held under the GENERAL THEME - Competition and Regulation Issues in the Pharmaceutical Sector 

This Workshop will comprehend Presentations by Ian Forrester, White & Case Partner and Awarded Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree by Glasgow University, on the topic of “European competition law in the pharmaceutical sector: competition despite regulation, or regulation via competition law?”, by Pedro Pitta Barros, Professor at the Economics School of the New University of Lisbon, holding a Chair in Economics (‘Professor Catedrático da Faculdade de Economia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa’), on the topic of “Margins throughout the value chain of pharmaceutical products: an economic regulation or competition issue?”, and by Luís Silva Morais, Associate Professor of Lisbon Law University (‘Professor Associado da Faculdade de Direito da Universidade de Lisboa’), on the topic of “Market structures and competition and regulation issues in the pharmaceutical in the pharmaceutical sector in Portugal”.

The Workshop will take place on June 1st, at 17h30, in the Court Simulation Room of Lisbon Law University (FDL).
