Cláudio Finkelstein

In 2000, he obtained a PhD. in Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brazil. He has a degree in  a LL.M in International Law from the University of Miami (1991) and he graduated in law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brazil in 1989. Since 2011, has a Full Tenure (Livre-Docência) from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo, Brazil and is currently a part-time Professor at the same University, in both graduate and post-graduate levels. He simultaneously also co-ordinates the post-graduate Studies International Law Department. He is a visiting Professor at the University of Miami, USA. He serves as the Director of Brazilian Institute of Constitutional Law and National Institute of Economic Disputes, Vice-President of Brazilian Society of International Law. He is a former coordinator of the International Contracts Course at COGEAE and FGV/SP and currently serves as the co-coordinator of International Contracts Course at IICS. Tutor for TCC, Scientific Initiation, Master and Doctorate Programs at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazil. His main areas of expertise are Private and Public International law.  He joined the research group on Globalization, Economic Integration and Development: European and Lusophone Perspectives.
