Senior tax lawyer with 20 years of experience in international taxation and policy development, working with industry, governments, the United Nations, Not-for-profit Institutions and intergovernmental organizations. Over 15 years of experience working in environmental and climate taxation.
Member of the United Nations’ Subcommittee on environmental Taxation, member of the expert group of the Global Solidarity Levy Taskforce, member of the Scientific Committee of the Africa Tax Research Network (ATRN), Columnist on developing economy issues in Tax Notes International.
In 2019 Tatiana was named by the International Fiscal Association (IFA) one of the top 40 women-lawyers who have shaped international taxation over the last 100 years.
Tatiana is the author of a proposition for Multilateral Carbon Tax Treaty (MCTT) that is currently being considered for implementation by the Platform for Collaboration on Tax for Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2025, the MCTT received 4 anonymous and independent nominations for the Earthshot Prize. The MCTT is being considered for the 2026 Earthshot Prize.
