Conference "The Application of Accounting and Tax Standards"

The Order of Chartered Accountants (OCC), in partnership with the Centre for European, Economic, Financial and Tax Law Research (CIDEEFF), the Institute of Economic, Financial and Tax Law (IDEFF), and the Institute of Accounting and Administration of Lisbon (ISCAL), will organise an international conference on the topic "The Application of Accounting and Tax Standards" on the morning of 20th November, at the António Domingues de Azevedo Auditorium in Lisbon.

Divided into two parts and featuring a range of distinguished experts, the conference will first examine the application of accounting standards in areas such as "Accounting and Tax Reporting", "Selection of Accounting Standards and Their Impact on Financial Statements", and "Convergence of National and International Accounting Standards".

After the break, the focus will shift to the application of tax standards in areas such as the rehabilitation of VAT in construction, consultations in nutritionism, tax treatment in the Madeira Free Trade Zone, and tax residence, as well as the notification and summons of taxpayers.

In accordance with the Continuing Professional Development Regulation, this event awards four credits.
