X Jean Monnet Network BRIDGE WATCH Seminar in Chile

The program of the X Jean Monnet Network BRIDGE WATCH Seminar has just been released. The event will take place from September 29 to October 2, 2025, in Santiago, Chile, hosted by the University of Chile and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC).

Under the theme “Digital Transformation and Innovative Solutions”, the four-day hybrid seminar will bring together experts and participants from various countries. The program includes:

– Opening Seminar on digital transformation and innovative solutions
– Training Course on digital transformation
– Advanced Course on democracy and the rule of law in the EU and Latin America
– Workshop with presentations of selected academic papers (the detailed program of the workshop will be announced soon)

The initiative is part of the Jean Monnet Network Policy Debate “BRIDGE Watch: Values and Democracy in the EU and Latin America”, co-funded by the European Commission, which unites 14 universities from Latin America and Europe under the co-coordination of the University of Lisbon and the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Supported by several international and regional institutions, the seminar reinforces the collaborative and multidisciplinary spirit of the project.
