Resolving Tax Conflicts. Discussion of the Brazil/Portugal models. A Comparative Study

The articles compiled in this open-access eBook were written by lawyers who took part in the Extension Course ‘Resolving Tax Conflicts. Discussion of the Brazil/Portugal models. A Comparative Study’. This Portuguese-Brazilian alliance was an unprecedented project initiated by the Institute of Economic, Financial and Tax Law (IDEFF) and the Research Centre for European, Economic, Financial and Tax Law (CIDEEFF) in partnership with the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Programme in Law at Rio de Janeiro State University (PPGD-UERJ).
Under the coordination of Professor Ana Paula Dourado and Professor Marcus Lívio Gomes, the aim was to draw up diagnoses of Portuguese and Brazilian tax litigation and promote debates on the challenges and solutions for judicial litigation in both countries, including the implementation of different methods of conflict resolution.

The eBook was organised by PhD students Claudia Marchetti da Silva (CIDEEFF) and Marília Cavagni (UERJ).
