Inês Pisco Bento

She finished her post-graduation on Criminal Liability of Companies (Tax Crimes) from the Institute of Criminal Law Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon (2013). In 2012, she obtained her master´s degree in Legal and Economic Sciences from the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon, with a thesis on Taxation of holding companies. She has a Law degree from the Faculty of Law, University of Coimbra (2004-08). In 2011, she completed an Accounting Intensive Training Course - 3rd Edition, 2011, by the Institute of Economic, Financial and Tax Law (IDEFF), Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon along with an intensive course on European Tax Law, taught by Professor Cécile Brokelind, Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon. She undertook a summer course on European Private Law - The Main Features of the European Legal Systems (Transfer of Title and Breach of Contract), at the University of Salzburg in 2007.  She is a member of the Portuguese Bar Association since 2013. She was an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon from 2013 - 14. Since 2011 she was a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon for Law and Economics. During 2003 - 07 she was a lecturer at the same Faculty for Tax Law, Economics of the Public Sector and Economics. From 2009-11 she was a Junior Associate in Tax Law with Garrigues Portugal. Following which she was a Junior Associate and subsequently an Associate at Albino Jacinto & Associados (in Tax Law) until 2013. At present she is an Associate at Linklaters Lisbon. She is a member of the “research project group” for the study of Oil and Gas Law of the School of Law, University of Coimbra, under the scientific direction of Professor José Carlos Vieira de Andrade. She was a speaker of the course "Tax Law – Taxation of Mining, Oil and Gas Industries”, organized by the Centre for Judicial Studies in cooperation with the Supreme Council of the Administrative Court of Mozambique, held in September 11, 2013 at the Centre for Judicial Studies. She co-authored the book “Direito do Petróleo”, J. C. Vieira de Andrade and Rui de Figueiredo Marcos (Coord.), Legal Institute, Coimbra, 2013;Collaboration on “Estudo de Metodologias de Apreciação dos Tarifários das Administrações Portuárias”, Publicações CEDIPRE Online Publications, No. 10, April 2012;“Da Descentralização Administrativa à «Fragmentação Funcional»: Contributo para a Análise da Provisão Pública da Educação”, Scientia Ivridica, N.º 327, September/December 2011. She is a member of the research group on Crisis, Public Policies, Taxation Policies and the Euro.
