CIDEFF Researcher to Take Part in the Inaugural Conference of the ECOWAS Regional Competition Authority

Gabriel Ambrosio Umabano, a PhD student and researcher at the Research Centre for Economic, Financial and Tax Law (CIDEFF) of the University of Lisbon Law School, will take part in the Inaugural Annual Conference of the ECOWAS Regional Competition Authority (ERCA), held in Banjul, The Gambia, from 15 to 17 September 2026.

On the third day of the conference, he will join the panel of Plenary Session 7 — "Ensuring Compliance and Legal Certainty in Competition Enforcement" — moderated by Mariana Tavares (Antas da Cunha Ecija), alongside Michael James Curie (Primero) and Emmanuelle Reille (Gide Loyrette Nouel).
